This is to elicit some information about music prevailing in Karanataka in 1950-1960. Music can be of theatre, traditional, classical, film based, light music (bhava geete).
It is important to collate and preserve the lyrics, recordings, photographs and any other physical entities which will ensure that future generation of kannadigas have a reference point for their musical history.
