Recent resuragance of Puttanna Kanagal's Music.

Dear all

I was pleasently surprised to note that various kannada channels have started focussing on the musical legacy of Puttanna Kanagal. Doordarshan Bangalore concieved and telecast an entire program of "Madhura mahuravee Manjuala Gana". Auditorium was over flowing. some people stood for nearly four Hours of the program. It was touching.

ETV also paid rich tributes in their "Endu Mareyada Haadu". Ravi Belegere came out with many interesting anecdotes(not always complemetary) about Puttanna.

Both programs rekindled fond memories and let the present generation know about what has been snatched away by fate.
